Hi,we recently moved into this town house,after 2 days we got this terebille smell,after investigation we found out the lady who stayed there died in the house on the main bedroom floor and was luing there for +-3/5 days,what we don't understand is if the place is closed and no windows is open,no smell,once we open the windows and doors there is this horrible smell.what can it be?please help!

I'd be less inclined to believe that opening windows is stirring up a previous human's death smell and more inclined to believe that you have something outside, a dead animal, some stagnant water, a vent pipe clogged with a dead animal (very common), a neighbor's dead animal. Is there a cellar window below the window? Have you checked down there?
