My 18 year old daughter left and moved in with her maternal grandmother. I have had custody of her and her now 14 year old sister for the last 14 years when their mother left them. Her grandmother has now petitioned the court for custody and child support. Since she moved out I have learned that she is using drugs, drinking alcohol and stealing. I can not have her in my home with my other children if she is not sber and if she is breaking the law. Can there be any criminal charges brought against me for not filing a runaway report?

If she moved in with grandmother, that is not "running" away, it is moving out, but you knew where she was, and I assume approved of the move. So you merely allowed her to move to grandmothers ( perhaps after some arguments)

As long as she is in high school ( and college in some US states) the grandmother can file for child support and guardianship of the child.
