Get a small tub of warm water and add a little dawn dishwashing liquid. Have another tub with just plain warm water.
Gently bathe the puppies in the warm water and lather them up, do this right next to the whelping box so the mum can see what is happening.
Rinse the pups in the plain water and dry thoroughly.
Until pups are 2 weeks of age they can't regulate their body temperature so making sure they are completely dry is very important.
Use a flea comb and go through the pups the remove and dead fleas.
You will need to repeat this regularly until they are old enough for a flea treatment.
Do the same with the mother and wash all bedding and vacuum floors.

You will need to treat the bedding and surrounding area as well. Vacuum and make sure to emplty the bag or canister right away, you can get carpet and furniture treatment as well.
There are also products for nursing moms as well. Make sure to get one prescribed from your vet. If you don't treat mom, the pups will continue to get fleas.
Follow Shaz's advice for bathing and product. Good luck.
Oops sorry shaz, didn't see that you had said to treat bedding and mom :o
