Well if you and your boy friend of 3 months are not working out, why are you still with him?
You're not married, that is what the dating thing is about. But dumping one boy to date another cause he asked you to is tacky.
Leave the boy friend if you both are unhappy. Let that be the reason.

One of 2 choices...
- try to fix the problems in your current relationship. You didn't state why you feel your current relationship is not going well but, I'll just assume you are not happy. But, I think every relationship( notwithstanding any obvious incompatabilities) deserves some effort before breaking up.

OR

-break up with your current boyfriend first and move on to someone more compatible.I believe there are lessons to be learned in every relationship, whether it was good or bad, ponder and learn from these lessons before throwing yourself into another relationship. It's all well and good that you have a guy dying for your attention but keep in mind what you want and who you think will be the best for you.

Best of luck!

If you really have to ask then you I believe your answer is already apparent. Trying to justify your friends actions by saying your relationship isn't the greatest isn't something you should do either. A true friend never interferes this way. If he was a true friend he would let your relationship take it course without his input.

So what am I saying? You should breakup with your boyfriend and not be friends or b/f-g/f with your friend.
