Me and this guy were both in a relationship but I was crazy about him for months - his girlfriend is completely ignoring him as it seems.. but he was in love with her.. anyway I never showed my feelings I just kept it all in.. But then this one day he made a move on me and kissed me! And then he said he loved me! I thought he was playing me but apparently he liked me for months as well and he was so happy we were together.. I officially broke it off with my old boyfriend (it was long distance and we weren't working out anyway) but before I did I asked the guy I was currently with if he actually loved me and if he was serious.. he said yes! Then two days later he breaks up with me and tells me he's still in love with his ex girlfriend... my pride was crushed and so was my heart... by the last month I was falling in love with this guy.. I was obsessed! Anyway I need to forget about him.. get him off my mind... in my head its 100% over but I want him to realise what he missed.. and I want to be completely over him.. I need tips!

Crushed.

Hi Crushed,

So sorry to this happened to you. How long were you and your boyfriend together?
Hey Crushed, one good thing, there are very helpful people here, so stick around, I know they will be able to help you.

In the meantime, it's okay to be sad and very normal. Get the sadness out of your system and try and surrond yourself with good friends and your family.

Wow what a roller coaster. Stay out of these guys life and keep them out of yours. Start working on your own life without the fellas for a while and just enjoy being single and free. Heal the hole in your soul by finding your own happiness. Do the things you enjoy. Not easy as it takes time and hard work, but you'll be glad you did it. Luck to you!

Completely agree with Tal, stay away from these types of men.. He sounds like a player to me.

As tal says, be happy being free and single for a while and build happiness within yourself doing the things you enjoy. Tal is right in saying that it will take time but you will reap so many rewards by doing this.

Agree with all the great advice above.

And just another quick one.

You don't fall in love with someone in a matter of days or weeks. It takes months and months to get to know someone properly and be in a position to fall in love.

I don't know if you really loved any of these guys. Lust more probably.

There is a lesson here for you to go slow in relationships and not make the other person your whole life.

Give it time for the relationship to grow and develop and then you will truly know it is love.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the advice it really helped.. and I have been focusing on myself much more.. obviously there's still pain but I see improvement... and to answer skell I liked the guy for 6 months before we had anything.. he was a good friend so I loved him before dating him.. he just kept me happy for a few weeks then left me... but anyway you're right I did rush into this one before thinking.. =)
