My daughter is 4 months old and her dad has been around for the first month of her life then decided he didn't want to be around me so he was only seeing our daughter twice every month and now he barely sees her like once a month if that. He has recently wanted to take her alone but he doesn't pay child support or knows anything about her. What do I do to get sole custody and would I have a good chance at getting sole custody?

Do you have a court-ordered child support order? Well, then he doesn't HAVE to pay child support.
Do you have court-ordered custody? Does he have court ordered visitation?
You need to go to court to get all of this established.

Yes and sole custody only means you have primary custody but he will still get court ordered visits, sole custody does not take his rights away.
He will get to have visits away from you, in Fact, he should be having them, he is the babies father and wants to be with the baby, but not be around you. At the most, he would have you gone with someone else there to supervise
But he will get visits, and unless he is a serious danger to the child,he will get visit including weekend visits even if you get sole custody.
Also unless you have went to court and got court ordered child support, he does not even owe you anything yet.
Also child support and visits are not connected,
