I am 22 year-old virgin, I will go for a virginty test next month, they say that these women that they do virginity test they check the hymen if still there, so if its not there-you are not a virgin. According to my knowledge hymen can be brocken by stranous activities(sports) so what if mine is brocken? They will say m not a virgin! I wish they can do it proffesionally or by physicians I don't know. My parents will be very dissapointed at me and I will be very embarrassed if they prove me not a virgin. What should I do? Please help

I'm so sorry these people believe the presence or absence of a hymen determines virginity. The only thing that determines virginity is whether you have been penetrated by a male organ.
In which country do you live?

In South Africa, my culture is Xhosa, the woman who will test us is from a Zulu tribe.

I too am sorry to hear this.
I don't know whether it would make any difference, or if it might cause you problems or not, if you were to present the facts to them?
Ask if they do realize the hymen may not be intact due to other reasons?
I hope it all goes well for you.

The doctor usually looks at the vaginal walls to see if you are still a virgin. Some women are born without a hymen and others can break them while doing activities such as sports. I think you have nothing to worry about.

I agree with the others. While we realize the hymen does not represent true virginity, some believe otherwise. I hope it works out for you.
