I have an Alapaha Blue Blooded Bulldog and his gas would put anyone to shame. There are times it is so bad I have to leave the room.
Others may correct me if I am wrong but gas is normal for some breeds and varies in stinkiness.

Our boston terrier, we miss so much. Also would have the worst gas, and then he would have enough nerve to look at you accusingly!! LOL

Diet can have a bit to do with it, some foods don't agree with some dogs. You could try changing brands to see if that helps.
Others however, are just gassy, surprisingly whippets apparently are terrible for it!

For mine their brief stint eating Pedigree made them unbearable, kangaroo mince didn't help either.

My Boxer mix is the stinkiest girl ever! And it's so bad she has been known to wake people up out of a dead sleep!

Some breeds are just prone to it like mentioned, and diet does play a big role in dogs and their smell. If you are feeding a quality brand and don't want to change, you can add a tea spoon to a table spoon of plain yogurt in with their hard kibble. It helps them digest things a bit easier. If you are feeding a lot of table scraps then your dog is going to get gassy just like you do. Also if your dog wolfs his food down and swallows a lot of air while eating, this will cause him to be gassy as well.

If you take your dog for regular exercise it will help in reducing gasses. He needs it anyway and it’ll help to keep his “insides” healthy as well thus aid digestion in general and reduce flatulence. And while you’re out on your walk, there’s a better chance that any gas build up will find a way out “naturally” and it’ll be gone before you get home.
