My Grandfather died about 6 years ago. He had left, in his will, $20,000 for me to go to college. I have since had a child and she is now 3 years old this month. I could not finish high school because I had my daughter early in my life. I had to start working to support my family. My wife worked a full time job until the day she went into labor. I really mean we needed to get working to support ourselves, no one else had the ability to help so we never expected it. My wife and I have had some really tough times trying to get ourselves into a stable state of living. Every paycheck goes to backed up bills and rent. I am left with virtually no money for gas and food. I know I am not going to College for a few years. I have landed a job that offers a well paying career with strong effort and commitment. There are up times and down time but I enjoy what I do and would like to move up in the business. This will take some time invested and a steady stress free state of mind. It will pay off in the end. I just need the inhertance that was left for me. Even half of it would help me for years. I don't want it to go all out on new cars and a house or anything. I just want stability. Do I have any right asking for it for my purpose? Do I have any right to it at all considering my inability to go to school? I really do need help with this and she has all the ability to help make my stress and struggle go away... Please help me understand what to do next with my situation. Thank you!
