If you receive Social Security Disabiilty then your child can receive their own monthly check. You need to go in person to the Social Security office and sign your child up to receive their own benefits until they turn 18. You need to take a birth certificate with you plus your proper id.

OK so had an appointment over the phone with them yesterday... since my ex didn't have enough work credits then there is nothing to give unfortanetly... but he does get something and because that there was child support orders he is obligated to pay... now I am now going to request that they take it directly out instead of hoping for a payment

Well its for sure not enough credits.. but they are requesting to take the child support amount out! Not much but something is better than nothing... thanks for your answers back!

That doesn't even make since.. being on my kid? And smex? OK well I already got it figured out jerk.. I am not searching to live off my kid if that's what you mean.. I work for a living but I do believe that both parents are obligated to pay to supprt
