What would be an appropriate reaction to someone who has told your girlfriend in some way that he loves her? There is no doubt in my mind that my girlfriend and I love each other, but it still bothers me that a friend of hers would tell her that he loves her and her not saying anything past I'm in a relationship. I feel like she should more actively reject him and basically tell him that he needs to forget loving her, because it can never amount to anything. Would it change anything if "the other guy" hasn't literally stated that he loves her, but she knows anyway? In the situation I'm talking about the person is "in a band" and is/has wrote a song for her entitled "Love for <her name>" and created a FB page stating something to the extent of she is amazing which I think are both acts which she should clearly state that he shouldn't do.

Talk to him face-to-face and tell him to drop the infatuation and back-off. Be firm but stay calm.

Listentomusic,

No offense when I say this, but this is her business, not yours. This other man is her friend, and how she deals with his declaration of love is up to her.

You need to explain to her that you are feeling threatened by this friendship she has. Ask her for suggestions on what you both can do as a couple to help you get over these feelings. But be willing to listen to her suggestions.

If you over react, she may very well take that's as you NOT trusting her.

If you're sure that she loves you as much you do to her then whatever others does it won't be matter being a reason for your tension.. Yeah its matter related to her so I think if u go and talk to the boy it'll be little inappropriate.. So just say her u don't like her being eyed by others so say her to tell that boy not to do that and she's a boy fren too whom she loves a lot..

Its appropriate to let her handle her own business. There is nothing you should be doing, and no way do you whine to her to do more.
