I'm replacing a 16 year old heat pump. I'm most concerned about reliability. Of the dozens of brands out there, are there any that have a better reputation for reliability and longevity ? Also, is a more efficient two stage unit going to be more complex and therefore more problem prone than a simpler 'basic' unit ?
