I have lived in this flat since I was 16 I am now 28 both me and my mum have felt a presence for years but for a wile now it has got stronger, but it only seems to be in my bedroom wich I use but do not sleep in. I sleep in a spear room that was my sisters which also seems to have a presence but not as much. My mum and I both feel that something is watching us and the presence is not peacefull. If there is a presence I want to know why? And who it is, also can I help it?

I have heard of familiar spirits that attach themselves to a family for generations but I don't know if they attach themselves to a place. If you feel a presence there is probably one there and I would be more concerned about getting rid of it than helping it. You and your mom have the right to your own peaceful life.

It's possible. Do you have any history of the house or land that the house is on? Why not do a little research and see if someone died there.
