Are you saying the basement floor drain's backing up? If so then you have a clog downstream from the floor drain that must be snaked. You may snake from one of several locations.
1) remove the strainer and snake from the floor drain.
2) If the basement stack has a cleanout you can snake from there. **OR**
3) If the washer station/Laundry sink is in the basement you may snake from the roof vent. Good luck, Tom
