I was arrested 5 years ago for petit theft in Florida- I was not a minor. At the time of arrest I did not have a mugshot and was not fingerprinted. Since that time, I completed pretrial diversions, my record was expunged & sealed and no other incidents have occurred. I am currently in PA, working through a temp agency at a bank- not a branch, but at the corporate headquarters. If offered a full time position, I know I will have to be fingerprinted. I want to know if my record will show up under the FBI search? I went through the proper channels to make sure it was properly sealed/expunged (I guess some people don't complete this process or do it incorrectly, but I went through the court and have paperwork to verify it is done).

It really won't matter what we have to say since it sounds like you have little to loose by accepting the offer and take what comes. If it shows then it shows, if not you may be home free.

States usually transmit prints to the FBI so if you were not printed I don't see how you can have an FBI fingerprint record

In ny for example if you are arrested and printed for a crime and you later have the record sealed via dismissal, ACD, acquittal, or a plea to a violation, your record is sealed and a request for expungement made by NY to the FBI to have your prints removed

But again you say you weren't printed so I don't see how the FBI can have a file on you
