My bank froze my acctount and are closing it they told me they would refund my money in about 15 days , they told me they were closing my account due to excessive returned deposits by same maker and I was considered a high risk, will this keep me from opening another account , I am also on my husbands account at another bank can they close that account to?

If your joint account is not having the same problems I doubt if they would close it, but I would definitely not deposit and checks or drafts from that source in that account.

It may cause you problems in opening an account with another bank, depending on how the bank reports this issue.

Why are you accepting and depositing checks from a source that keeps bouncing them? You should have been insisting on cash or money orders by now.
