View Full Version : Can someone give me a nursing careplan for Ostoeporosis, No Risk for

Patient has very minimum pain (2 on a scale 0/10) in the lower back
Has right humerus fx. No surgery performed
Has 2+edema BLE, w/c and cane for mobility
Weakness, fatigue,
Spinal deformities
Hx. Of degenerative arthritis, osteopenia, hypertension, and falls

Cannot use impaired mobility. I did choose Disturbed Body Image, but can't seem to come up with a care plan for it. Really need someone's help PLEASE!!

Sandra, to be quite honest, if you can't really give this compete thought and put together a care plan for a patient who hasn't even had surgery and minimum pain, although I do have to admit there are extenuating physical problems, then you had better start thinking about another profession. If you are becoming a nurse, or a healthcare provider you will come up against a lot more difficult decisions, and a lot more difficult care plans.

Sandra, I've done my 2 years of nursing care plans without them being given to me. You can too.

Ig you give me what you have so far I'll be happy to help you. But I can't write it for you. ;)

Focus on broad then specific ie;
@ risk for impaired tissue perfusion( ble edema)
Pain (always or @ risk for )
@ risk for falls
@ risk for skin breakdown (edema, impaired mobility, hptn)
