I am a USA citizen and he is a UK citizen. We have been married for 2-1/2 years but have been living in separate countries for the past 2 years. He has moved on and found someone new. He has no desire to come to the USA so he wants a divorce. What forms do I need to obtain to get a divorce without him being present in the USA?

It is more complicated then just finding the proper forms. I suggest you hire a divorce lawyer to get this done properly and in the least amount of time. A lot depends on the divorce grounds you want in place in order to obtain a divorce in another country.

There is no joint property or assets and no children. I canot afford an attorney as I am a single mother of 2 kids born from a previous marriage I don't have a job! So, it looks as though we are stuck in the marriage.Thanks anyway :-)

If your ex spouse wants out of the commitment with you, to marry someone else, then let him pay for it.
