I got letters from attorneys stating that I have been sued over a credit card debt. I have nor received anyhtng from anybody else,can they get money from my bank account. I live in Texas. What if I try to settle the debt??

If you owe it then morally you should try to pay it. Have you tried to work out a payment plan? Have you not received letters and calls? I don't know about wage garnishments in TX but they can "attach your bank account" IF they get a judgement
Against you. If you get a summons please do not ignore it.

Until they win a judgment in court they can't attach your bank accounts. Letters are not legal action. Until you receive a summons, its just threats.
