On our last refi on our house I was supposed to be removed from the deed by a quit claim deed. Unfortunately my wife was quit claimed off and I am now the sole person on the deed. We are trying to do a cash out refi and with just my wife on the mortgage, thinking that things were done correctly the first time and she was the only person on the deed. We have been told that we cannot do the cash out because my wife was not on title for 6 months.
Is there any exception in Fannie Mae that allows us to do a cash out mortgage with my wife only on the mortgage?
