I had a credit card debt that went to collections, then to a lawyers where I received a summons and whatnot and a payment plan was put in place where every month I pay the law office representing the cc. (location is NY). This was in march. The debt is not paid off but I just rec'd this document asking me to sign a stipulation discontinuing action. What should I do?
