Can someone tell me what software i need and where i can get it to make ipod work with windows millennium?

Did you ever get an answer to your question , my niece has bought an Ipos for xmas and cannot use it because her PC in running win ME

I tried to help a friend with this (iPOD and WinME) and it's pointless unless you are quite computer savvy. There are workarounds but they are long and laborious. Solution was to upgrade to XP.

Thanks,her PC insn't online , do you know if there is anyway to upgrade to XP easily without purchasing it in a store.

Nope, gotta buy the CD.

Damn Micro-soft lol, the only way to get a good version that works is too buy one from store... Don't go for copys a friend of mine did and boy did they have problems

That is, don't try to copy it - unless you know what you're doing... (heh heh heh!! )

Even with Microsoft's latest attempts (e.g. disabling updates, etc.) it is still possible to pirate WinXP SP2 successfully (I am speaking from experience here). However, I would not recommend doing it as it can get quite messy if you're not up to the task (from a technical standpoint).
