My results from a fit for duty evaluation which was done because I went under FMLA due to Severe stress and anxiety due to my workplace conditions was eventually mentioned in a termination letter I received. I also found out from a former co-worker that "somehow" the termination letter was sent via email to appox. 16 other co-workers. What are my legal rights to privacy?

I don't understand why Your medical result was sent to others,16? I have to do them twice a year ,but not even my doctor knows what the advisor has decided. I'm 69% invalid Nobody knows that detail,it's more of a formality that I even get called over.
Now ,the workplace that caused the stress, you have that sorted on paper ,I mean doctor has prescribed something, even if not prozac ,he told you to take time off? At the end ,if I understand you correctly,You're looking in to check where the privacy breach was committed or to dispute the firm letting you go?

I have 3 pending state human relations complaints pending for harassment, discrimination and retaliation. I am in law enforcement. Because of the intentional harassment and so forth, I was forced to use FMLA. When I returned to work, I had to undergo a fit for duty evalution. Because the psychologist is aware of my complaints, he will not give the OK to return to my hostile work environment but yet says I can do the same job anywhere else (what does that tell you?). In the meantime, I was officially terminated by way of certified letter a few weeks ago. A co-worker who gets their daily schedule (along with 15-20 other co-workers) received my termination letter via email which states due to my FFD evaluation, I have been terminated. Does this not violate my Protected Health Information?

It is another form of vindictive outright harassment which just continues to support my current claims of retaliation. I am LIVID right now that by now, the entire department of my former co-workers know my Fit for duty evaluation results. Sending an email and attaching a document ( my official termination letter) cannot possibly be anything other than more retaliation, don't you think? I just need to know if this is in violation of my protected health information.
