If I have an accident on private property, can DMV take my license if I don't have insurance in WA? I offered to pay the damage, police were called but no citations or tickets were given. I just need to know if DMV is going to take my license as I am an unemployed, almost retired union guy.

They may if they are informed of the event, since there was no ticket, I don't know how they will know unless you inform them.

Now you will have to pay all the damges, since that is the other way your drivers license will be suspended, if you have an accident and do not pay the damages.

They already know because, according to OP, they were called.

Hello P:

If you didn't get a ticket, the DMV won't know.

No, they were called, did not say they did a report, and it did state there was no ticket. As a police officer we went to 100's of accidents on private property, made sure no one was hurt, made sure no one was going to hurt someone, explained we did not investigate private property accidents and left. No report, no tickets no nothing.

So police merely being called does not mean anyone will be notified.

The police don't take away your license; they give you a citation. The DMV is the one who revokes the license.
