My power button light comes on but there is no pitcher or sound

Unplug it from the mains power and leave it for several minutes.
Then plug it all back in again and start over.
This will hard reboot it.

What model is it? Is there any light on the front that blinks?

If Curlyben's suggestion does not help, there is a good chance that you will need someone out to diagnose specifically what is wrong with the TV as it is quite difficult to diagnose without seeing the TV itself.
