My periods are long, like 7+ days. I get my get my cycle almost every 15-19 days, saw doc, ran hormone test, ultrasound, thydriod and blood count and all came back normal, no cycts nothing. Doc thinks nothing wrong want me to see fertility specialist other opt is pill for long periods but I was told it could take a year before the pill to get out of your system. She didn't even want to prescribe Clomid, said fertility place could better moniture it..
I don't believe what the doctor says and insurance won't cover fertility. Today I'm on day 14 (I'm counting the spotting, light then heavy then light again part of my cycle) and if it wasn't for the pregnant. Test and ultrasound taken in her office done on 10-21 I would have thought I lost but I'm not pregnant.

What has your doctor said that you are not believing?

A 15-19 day cycle is very short. With the testing that was done, do you know what hormones were tested and if it was determined whether you are ovulating? Did you have a single blood test or did your doctor have you come in on specific days of your cycle to do some testing?
