Your well is only 6 ft deep? Is it in a river? What are the dimensions? The pump should easily work from a 6 ft depth. I'd worry about polluted water if you are only pulling from 6 ft.

Its really only a holding tank for a natural spring it is 3 feet wide by 6 feet deep I'm not really worryied about the 6 feet as I am about pulling it 29 feet to were I want to put the pump

It is a natural spring with a holding tank that is 3 feet wide 6 feet deep I'm worreid about how far I got to pull it wich is 29 feet horizontaly and 6 feet vertical will the pump work or will I have problems

It would probably work best if you put the pump at the cistern and push the water the 29 ft. You can run UF cable to the pump. You might get away with pulling the water since you only have a small lift. Let us know how it works.

It will work either way. My 1/2 horse pump pulls from a 40 foot well and from there to a sprinkler system. Good luck, Tom

It will work fine so long as the 29' you refer to does not refer to an extra 29' feet of elevation.
