Hi there fish lovers,
I have a10 gallon freshwater tank it has been going good for a year... until recently! I was told my PH was off, so I bought something to fix it. Now the PH is fine, but its still cloudy. I did a 25% water change... still cloudy! Then today I noticed one of my little fish has a white spot on her(ich). Everything has been going well until now-and I am going out of my mind! Please help me!

You changed too much water at once. Only change 10 % @ a time, unless you are changing to lower ammonia levels. The cloudy water is just cycling due to the amount you changed, it will clear in a week. Never adjust your PH too fast, a little a day till you get where you want it. Was the water you added the same temp. as the tank? Temp. is more important than ph. The fish was stressed due to these changes and in turn came down with ich. Raise the temp of the tank to 85 when you treat for ich, its life cycle is about 5 days.
Hope this helps you

The water was the same temp... as for my heater, it only goes to 75... should I get a different one?

Yes, usually heaters go higher than 75, your tank is small so you don't need 200 watts, however buy one a little better. The reason you raise the temp is to speed the life cycle of ick. It will help eradicate it quicker.
