My girlfriend and I tried to have sex a couple of times but was never in the best situations and was always too painful to even get the head in because she was a virgin. One day we were alone and intimate and tried to have sex again. After oral and 4 play I felt it was ready and she was comfortable and relaxed. I inserted my penis slow and half way when she flinched I pulled out and she said it hurt. I inserted 1 finger and pulled out it was covered in dripping blood. I said I must have broken your hymen. She still says she's a virgin because we didn't really have sex since I pulled out after only being halfway in. I say she's not a virgin since I broke her hymen with my penis. Is she still a virgin or not?

Yes, it has to do with the rules of the Adult Sexuality Board.

Were both over 18. She was a virgin I was not. But we are both over 18

She stopped being a virgin when your penis was inserted even part way into her vagina.
I hope you were practicing safe sex.

I agree with Cat. She's not a virgin. Penis in vagina, even if only half way, means she's no longer a virgin.

Age matters here. You better believe that.
"18" ? O.K. fair enough.
By inserting your penis far enough into her vagina, you caused pain and injury to her hymen enough to be considered "broken", thus ending her virginity. So yes, technically you win. So what? What does that get you? Are you using the "it's broken, let's go with it routine"? If she wants to wait, then respect that and be there for her no matter what she wants to call her "condition", or status. If she says that she is still a virgin, then there's probably a REASON for her to still want to be one.
Think.
And always use protection. You'll be on here in a couple of months asking "can she be pregnant, I pulled out...?"
Sorry dude, you posted in the"adult" section. And I'm going to give it to you like a man.
You need to act like one at all times. Especially with the ladies. Remember that fact.
Peace.

? Who said she wants to wait? What's the chip on your shoulder for lol. Me and my girl joke ever since whether she a virgin still or not I say no she says yes. No big deal she just feels since we didn't go through the full act she's not a virgin lol relax

And I win? Not about winning. More like I was right. And thanks. And we used protection for the few minutes till the hymen broke. Lol your anger is funny

There is no "chip", or "anger". Your inexperience is what's funny.

She's no virgin any more... if she claims to be then she's a liar now.
THere is no halfway here... like you are never "just a little bit" pregnant.
Just because you didn't make it to the end of the ninth inning doesn't mean you wasn't in a ball game.

badandy, JM wasn't showing anger towards you, he was treating you like a man, which is what you should be if you're having sex. Read the words with the maturity you need in order to continue what you're doing. Trust me, if she gets pregnant you'll need to man up, may as well get used to it now.
There are many different opinions on what constitutes virginity. Trust me, we've all had this argument before. The dictionary is a bit misleading and old fashioned when it comes to a definition. In other words, ask 10 people, and you'll get 10 different answers depending on their beliefs and their experience.
I don't believe that the hymen has to be broken to constitute sex. Some women have their hymen broken long before they engage in sex, that doesn't mean they weren't virgins. Now it seems that your girlfriend did in fact have a hymen and it was broken when you two had sex.
I can see her reasoning. To her sex means the completion of the act, not just you inserting your penis half way. The fact is, if you put your penis in far enough to break the hymen, then no, she's no longer a virgin, but that's just my opinion.
Now we could go further into this, and this is where the different schools of thought come into play. If sex means the insertion of a penis, than does oral sex mean you're no longer a virgin, or anal sex? This is where things get tricky.
The fact is, if she's not ready to lose her virginity, even though she's physically no longer a virgin, IMO, than respect that. Just like the rest of us, she's allowed her opinion on what constitutes sex, and what constitutes virginity.
Did that make any sense to you, or did I lose you? ;)

The fact that you two are arguing about her virginity shows me that she may have some regret with the attempt.
Once the penis enters the vagina, she is no longer a virgin...

First Jm is a hater and so is the enigma or whatever name is. And all I asked was a simple question but these fools try to twist it into some relationship problems lol. Like you said she considered the full act to the end of climax as sex

So since that is not what took place. She think she is still a virgin. I say no she's not because I was able to insert my penis and break the hyman before the pain got to her. That's it no arguing no issues just back and forth debate.

These haters took my simple question and turned it into Inception with plots and twist. Adding side stories to it. And who said anything about pregnancy or manning up and that lol.

Thanks a lot. Simple answer for simple question. I appreciate that. She not lying I mean she's with me we joke about it. She only think she is because we did not climax finish. That's all. Thanks
