I was wondering if anyone could tell me why the psi will not drop on my pressure gauge for the tank . It will go up and stay at that and will not release. The gauge has been replaced and we also unhooked the pressure gauage and switch and let the water flush out. Thanks for any info you may have :confused:

Shut the pump off and open a cold water faucet. The gage should start to fall immediately. If it doesn't click on back. Regards, Tom

Did you do this? What happened? Did the gage fall or not? Tom

Ok so, we tried that , and no the gauge did not fall back. There is pressure at the tank, if we screw the pressure swwitch off, water shoots out of the tank and the gauge will fall then, other than that, the gauge will not fall back. Any suggestions? Thanks for all your advice... :)

I'm attempting to visualize your set up. Is it suction line, check valve, pump, control box/pressure switch and bladder tank? On another configuration?
It almost sounds like you have the check valve installed ahead of the bladder tank. Tell me it ain't so. Tom
