I have a 1980 Ford F-100 with 45,000 original miles on it. Over the past month or so the truck has had trouble starting. I checked the cap and rotor and saw there was a significant amount of corrosion so I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and air filter. The problem stopped for a few days. I checked and there is good spark and no loose connections. When you can get the truck started it runs good. The battery has no problems turning over the engine it just won't start. Any suggestions?
