Hello I'm 19 and I recently have changed from the Implanon Implant to the Patch and on Saturday I took my last patch off to have my week "off" when I started my period on the correct day it was just brown discharge and it has been like that ever since my periods normally last 4 to 5 days I really worried and I have no idea what it could be?

How recently did you switch birth control methods?

This could just be your body adjusting to the new hormone levels.

It was a month ago but I had to wait until the first day of my period before I could use the patch so I had to wait about 3 weeks after I had th implant taken out

Well then, most likely your body is adjusting to the new hormone levels. I would not be concerned at this point. If you have the same problem next month then maybe a phone call to your doctor would be advisable.

But for now this is pretty normal.
