I had a baby with my ex 3 years ago and we tried to make it work but when the child was 1 I left him because he was a horrible person. He would hit me in front of her and call me names and would take her with him to his drug addict friends house and do drugs with her right there in front of him and while holding her. And one day he took her from me and wouldn't give her back for 2 weeks and when I got her back 2 days later he got shot 3 times in the back of drugs. And now he hasn't seen her since she was 17 months old and I would like for him to sign his rights away. He hasn't ever had a job and has never bought her anything not diapers shoes clothes anything at all. I don't know how to get him to sign his rights away without spending a bunch of money because I don't have any.

Did you read this (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/family-law/signing-over-rights-read-first-116098.html) sticky?

Which part don't you understand?

Sorry there is no "cheap" way to sign away rights,

First it is very very hard to get a judge to allow him to even sign over his rights, If you have proof of all the above, police reports, arrest reports, and the such, you may get his right to visit very restricted, even to the point of only supervised visits.

If he has been sentenced to prison for long term, at times they judge will allow rights to be taken away.

But you will have to have an attorney, and will have to file in court, it will not be cheap, but you may find some legal aid help with local legal aid departments
