I have a Trane XE 70 forced air furnace that has recently refused to stay running. Model Number TUS100A936A1

I think it's has a faulty gas valve, but I need advice. The Trane gas valve model number is 21c138785P03 which I believe is the same as White Rogers 36E87 204. It's valve uses a socket typy mercury auto pilot switch... White Rogers 3049 -18.

The unit starts the pilot every time when the unit is cool. Once the Mercury switch turn on the main burner solenoid it runs anywhere from 5 sec to 60 sec. Then then I hear a click from the valve and both solenoid go off for about 2 minutes. After about 2 minutes something reset inside the valve allowing this to be retried. I have jumped the merc switch to prove its not shutting down the gas valve, it seems something inside the valve itself is releasing voltage to the solenoids. Internal temp switch inside the gas valve assembly maybe? Do you agree with replacing the valve?
