About seven years ago I bought a new thermostat with several ports, and some how I got onw wire connected to the "G" port of the thermostat and the other wire connected to the "RH" port. It worked and sometimes failed. My furnace did work this year, so I replaced the thermocouple, and it did not work. Then I bought another thermostat and the instructions not really clear to me. This one had the following ports: G, RC, RH, Y, and W. I connected one wire to G, and the other to RH, but does not start even thought pilot's flame is on. Is it possible the generator, or it is me who is not doing it right? I also notice that the pilot's flame is kind of blue, and when I bypass the connection it runs but then turns off icluding the pilot.
Thank you.
