Luke 6:28
Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Romans 12:14
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

1 Corinthians 4:12
We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;

That pretty well covers it. If you can't ignore them, I just say something like "I'm sorry you feel that way, but it's your problem, not mine." And then walk away.

Agreed that fairly well sums it up.

Yeah, agreed, sums it up! However, I'd like to add... 1 Corinthians 16:13 : "Be on your guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong." Don't let someone's jealous, mean comments change who you are in God. Don't say something you'll later regret because you're fed up. Sometimes, them saying mean comments and you returning one just proves to them that you are in the same boat they are.
