Firstly,
This summer I have been getting cramps that, I believe, could be comparable to the contraptions of what labor may feel like. I am in so much pain that I am left paralyzed until it goes away. Late in the summer, after my boyfriend and I had intercourse, I had them the ENTIRE night until about 6a. I was thinking about going to the ER, and didn't because I kept thinking any hour, they would go away.
I went to the doc about this a week later, and she thinks a cyst might have rupture during intercourse. This was all late Aug.
Moving on, Oct 5, I got an extremely light period when I am usually very heavy. I didn't even have the aches or symptoms that I usually get. It is Oct 28th and I still have it, and its relatively light but definitely more than just spotting.
I had blood work done yesterday and I have a white blood cell count reading of 11.3, which is higher than average. Sometimes my thyroid is low, but that's "normal" this month.
I have an appointment nov. 8th for thyroid ultra sound and a pelvic examination.
My main question is, with 3 week period and a high WBC count, should I be worried at all? I know a high WBC means the body is trying to fight an infection of some sort. I am incredibly fatigued, but I am kind of always tired anyway.
Thanks
