My boyfriend is not sociable. When we are on the phone, its complete silence. In person, it is the same thing. Why is he so unsociable?

Has he always been like this?

He says he has.maybe he is not a talkative person but I feel as though that could be a weakness in our relationship.I always tell him how I feel and he never say anything.

How did you end up in a relationship with him? He sounds like he doesn't talk to you either.

He is probably, by nature, a quiet, laid-back kind of person. I'm sure it's nothing personal. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

When I first met him, we basically started talking about the basics things about eachother(fav. Color, fav. Food, etc). He say he don't know what to say and that he don't know how to bring up a conversation.

I think that s_cianci is right. I think he is a quiet person or may be it takes him longer than others to start initiating converstations. How long have you been with him? It could eventually get frustrating not getting feedback or responses to your feelings or thoughts. So, if you don't have the patience for it or if you feel you need more communication with him, his personality may be a wrong match for you.

There must be something wrong, I say try to break him down and see what's the problem.. confront him about it and see how things go, I personally can't be with someone who can't carry a conversation, but is it like awkward with him?

No its not awkward.its just boring sometimes.but I guess that's just his personality.he's not a talkative person.
