What type of shutdown, most relays work when all conditions are met? Fuel Pump(Inertia Switch)?

The main relay is located under the dash, left of the steering column (hidden by the silver cruise control box, which needs to be removed).

Well, I'm not a mechanic. Someone told me that was the name and is the only one metallic relay in this car.
