I have a woman in an other state who is sending me messages about my husband that are not true. She also has hacked into my facebook acct and took that over as well as my yahoo acct. the messages she is sending me are through gmail. I have filed a police report. Just wondering if charges would be placed and could i sue this person for this. The last mess she sent was when she took over my yahoo acct and emailed me from that to another one of my accts saying she had been in my home and planted micro phones and cameras and is watching my every move. What can i do to stop her?

Do you know this woman personally ? Do you have her name, address and phone number that the police can use to trace her. Quite honestly unless there is violence attached to the harassment, I don't think there is much the police or you can do.

There has to be some hard and fast evidence that she is doing this.

I understand your dalima because I had a similar problem. I spent a lot of time, money and effort trying to stop this person with no results. The authorities advised that unless there is physical harm done to me that there was basically nothing I cuold do. I was not even able to file a no contact order because it was not domestic. My advice to you is to ignore this person they will eventually stop. I bought a can of mace and a guard dog.

I found that a letter from an Attorney threatening legal action worked wonders. If this person is upsetting your life, by all means - contact an Attorney.

I found a very helpful Police Agency which took the matter to a Judge, got a subpoena, pulled phone records, Internet records.

What happens next? That's up to you.
