I bought a new laptop with windows 7 and a friend of mine set it up.
Everything seems to work well except when I attempt to login to my financial institution (PC Financial) and only my financial institution. All other bookmarks work fine.
First off, for some unknown reason my user information (user ID/sign-on) is not being saved in laptop.
When I first attempt to access the PC Financial website I must enter my account number and user id. Then once I get access to my account I get disconnected and get the following message: "The connection was reset: The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
Moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
Connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
That Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
When I try to visit the PC financial website later on in the day connection fails non-stop and I get the same message as the one posted above.
I don't understand why I can't connect to my bank using the new laptop whereas I can access my Financial institution using my old laptop which also uses Firefox.
I am at my wits end. I just can't get any answers anywhere. I have cleared the cookies and the cache but nothing helps.
Please help, thank you
