I have a new laptop with windows 7 and for some reason I am experiencing difficulty in logging on to my bank's website. One of 2 things happen. Some times I can log in to my bank and after trying to do some banking I get a message that says "The connection was reset: The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
Moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
Connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
That Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Other times I can't log in at all and get the same message as above. What I don't understand is why can I connect to my bank using Internet explorer but not Firefox. The other strange thing is I can also access my bank and do my banking when I use my old laptop. Is my new laptop not configured properly or is it a windows 7 problem. I am at my wits end. I just can get any answers anywhere.

Please help, thank you

Some bank's website are just out of date and it will cost too much to upgrade.. Anyway, try deleting you entire browser history by clicking on Tools - Internet Options (Browser History)
Also Reset all you settings on the "Advanced Tab".
Make sure that you add your bank's site to your list of trusted sites as well and check your firewall or antivirus settings. They also block things sometimes.

Lastly, try Opera Browser as well.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
