View Full Version : What can cause and how can I fix my overflow tank from spitting antifreeze underload?

I have a 2004 F250 6.0 Diesel. It has been a great truck except for some minor repairs and maintinence. Every time I put my truck under a load, it seems to have coolant spill out of the overflow. Can anyone tell me why and what to do to keep it from happening?

Start using full-synthetic SAE 5W-40 HDDO, in the engine, and full-synthetic ATF, in the transmission, transfer case, and power steering unit. Trucks run much cooler with these lubricants (Item 12):
