I have a six-bulb vanity light bar in my bathroom. One of the lights will not work even with a new bulb installed. How do I disassemble the light fixture to determine if there is a loose wire? I do not see any screws that hold the decorative piece in place, so any information on how these decorative bars are normally attached would be helpful. Also, could you please recommend any troubleshooting tips to determine the cause of the light not working? Thanks in advance for your help!

Shut the power off, test a working socket to be due there is no power, use a plastic tool to reach in and pull out the eyelet contact at the bottom of the socket that is not working, pull, bend, it up a fraction of an inch, so the contact can reach the bottom contact of the lamp.

If this does not work, get back and let us know.

No luck. I was able to pull the eyelit contact out a fraction of an inch and a good bulb still did not work. Any suggestions?

Ok I thought that would have been the problem. To take off the front cover there should be metal collars around each socket, simply twist and pull off each collar to release front cover to access the wiring to each socket. The bad one may have a broken wire at the socket or a wire came loose from the main splice.
