But the child is his nephew and they hv been brought up like brothers. The nephew was sort of picking on him and my son pushed him and he fell to the ground. My daughter clld the police and they arrested him and chrged him with knowling and intentionally causing bodliy harm to a child-a 3rd degree felony. But my grandson/nephew has no injuries and was not really hurt

How old is he. So we know if he falls under Statutes for adults or minors.

My son is 20yrs old and my grandson is 9. we want the to drop charges. It was something that got way out of hand. Because not only did he push my grandson, he punched me in the face, and asaulted my daughter, my grandsons mom. There are other issues at hand. We know he was bottling up a lot of anger from another issue and he just exploded. We want to drop the charges. There is no proof of injury other than the 911 call my daughter made.

Hello t:
Once the cops are called, the decision to file charges or not rests with the prosecutor - not you. If he can get a conviction, he'll prosecute whether you like it or not.
