Anyone have a natural method of purifying the body of THC aka marijuana? This is not just for a test, but it's for spiritual and emotional purification. I want to rid my body of the toxins quickly without adding other chemicals to it.
I started smoking to numb emotional pain... personally, not a good method. Any suggestions would be most appreciative.
Thanking you... OffMyHighHorse.

For some reason I can't cut and paste this website out of Google? If you go to Google, the website is 'tips to get marijuana out of system'. I have recommended it before. So take a look. Answers a lot of questions. Good luck.

Hello l:
Personally, I don't call cannibinoids, toxins... I'm enjoying some "toxins" right now... In any case, pot residuals reside in the fatty tissues of your body, and I don't know of any way to remove them except naturally...
Bummer about your test... I've found that it takes about 26 days for the "toxins" to go.

Diatomaceous earth is a great way to naturally cleanse your body. Its pretty cheap too. I don't know how well it works for thc specifically, but it works wonders on a lot of impurities including parasites. Diatomaceouse earth is millions of years old, and consists of the silica shells of diatoms. Personally I use red clay earths diatomaceous earth that includes calcium bentonite, an asorbant clay formed from volcanic activity. Bentonite particles have a negative charge which attracts and bonds to toxins, most of which have a positive charge. The mix of d.e. and the bentonite clay provide optimal cleansing. A few things to remember about d.e.:
1. make sure to get FOOD GRADE diatomaceous earth. Filter/pool grade can and will kill you
2. don't over do it. Generally a teaspoon, not a tablespoon a day mixed in lemonade, hot chocolate, etc. will do the trick.
3. read up on d.e. there are many uses for it, including insect control. There are great videos on YouTube about it too.

Scientific studies support excon's personal belief. There is no part of the cannabis plant that is known to have a toxic reaction in normal human physiology.
Cleansing your system of THC (and metabolites) is problematic. As excon rightly points out they are deposited into fatty tissue, bond and are released at unknown intervals by unknown mechanisms. While his personal history may indicate a 26 day clearance period I have been personally involved with cases where THC was detected, in significant amounts, 6-7 months following abstinence and others where it couldn't be detected within hours after confirmed use. I believe that the detection period for THC can only be classed as indeterminate.
The findings as to elimination periods is further complicated by the fact that THC in urine or blood may not be detected one day and then detected the next (rebound effect) and it may or may not be incorporated into human hair. I describe it as the elusive molecule and believe that it is.
There may be cleansing agents that work but the majority of the claims are probably attributable to the lack of knowledge about the pharmacokinetics of THC as opposed to the effectiveness of the product.

The more you smoked the longer it will take to get out of your system. For instance you smoked a half ounce a day for years it would take much longer to get out of your system than say if you only smoked one joint a day for years. It's "stuck" in your fatty tissues and must be released naturally. I wouldn't recommend taking "anything" to help this process and let it leave your body naturally.
