I bought a Whirlpool Cabrio gas dryer less than 9 months ago. Recently I started smelling a strong gas odor coming from the dryer, but sporatically; maybe once every 10th load. Any ideas? Put in a new vent and lint traps are clean. Also noticed a scorched panel in the back of the drum. Any comments would be appreciated.
