Is there a reason you want to give up your child? Since your not married then your asking the courts to allow another to adopt your child. I never get that part.

If he marries you and you have a stable relationship for more then 1 years time then seek the courts permission it may be allowed. You will still have to seek the bio fathers permission. Also there is no restraining order that lasts a lifetime for a child. And if the bio father wants to get visitation he may have to jump through hoops but most likely it will be given to him. There is no never ever in court.

He needs to be married to you and the bio father will need to sign over his rights to allow the adoption ( to make it the easiest) next did the order for no visit come from family court as part of the child custody agreement ?

If you have a solicitor then why not ask them? The solicitor will tell you what requirements you need to meet to allow for adoption. Its not a no that he can't adopt, but you have to meet the legal requirements.
