It takes place during WW2 in a town in England. The protagonist are school children's, that go about on their bicycles to school these children's also have to to train in akind of home guard that is part of their school activities; one day a new student, an outsider perhaps a refugee from Germany came to the town to live there with his family , his father is scientist or teacher the new boy is treated with hostility for a while but the boy try to get along with the others to fit in and became part of the paramilitary unit. Something happen that he gets blame about something and place him in front of a fake court-martial composse of his peers that sentence him to a fire squad execution. To the rest of the boys this is a game to scare the new boy , all the rifles are loaded with blanks but one of the refles get a real bullet that kill the boy.

Now that I finally got the movie title I need to get it so I can finally uderstand this film; when I saw this film was in English and did not get the story.Was it an accident or intension that kill the German boy?
