Before I ask my question please let me just say that I have had an eating disorder for 14yrs and nothing anyone says is going to change that, unfortunately. I gave birth to my 3rd son 3 months ago. I didn't breastfeed the first two but I am with him. I ate very healthy while I was pregnant with all 3 but giving birth is always a big trigger for my ed. So my question is, I am still producing plenty of milk even though my caloric intake is very low. I take prenatel vitamins and dra supplements. Is he getting what he needs? He is never fussy, seems satisfied and is gaining weight normally. I don't want to ask my dr because I don't want to discuss my ed. Thank you for any help given.

He may be taking what he needs, and I am sure you would know within yourself and taking care of him, if he is prospering, and you sound comfortable with the way he is progressing.. I would be concerned what it is taking from your body and not being replenished with the proper diet, even though you are taking . Taking care of yourself, so you can take care of him properly is the major issue.

He sounds like he is doing just fine... well done!
You are correct, nothing anyone says will change your problem. You know full well that has to come from within you.
Only thing I will say on the matter is that you made the choice to eat well for your children during pregnancy because you were thinking of their well-being. Give that some careful thought and do what you can to be sure that you are around a long time for your children.
